Easyjet launch new Bordeaux route

Budget airline has revealed 16 new routes for 2017

Adding to their already substantial network of flights across Europe and France the UK budget airline has added more new routes for spring and summer 2017.

Bordeaux already benefits with good connections across Europe but this new announcement will only enhance their portfolio of destinations.

"Nearly every big French city will be served," François Bacchetta, managing director of EasyJet France told France Info.

The new routes are as follows:

  • Paris CDG - Spain's Bilbao (from March)
  • Toulouse - Spain's Malaga (from June)
  • Toulouse - Italy's Venice (from June)
  • Toulouse - Spain's Valencia (from June)
  • Nice - Portugal's Faro (from June)
  • Nice - Switzerland's Zurich (from June)
  • Lille - Italy's Venice (from June)
  • Lille - Italy's Naples (from June)
  • Lille - Portugal's Faro (from June)
  • Marseille - Italy's Venice (from May)
  • Marseille - London's Luton (from February)
  • Nantes - London's Luton (from February)
  • Bordeaux - Germany's Hamburg (from June)
  • Biarritz - Switzerland's Bâle (from June)
  • Biarritz - London's Luton (from June)
  • Bastia - Germany's Berlin (from June)

Prices are expected to start from as little as €20-30 one-way. In addition to the extra flights, two new planes have also been commissioned and will be based in Nice and Toulouse in the south of France. It is expected that some 72 extra jobs will be created in France to cope with this development.
