Golf du Medoc - France's Best Golf Course 2016
The World Golf Awards celebrates excellence in golf tourism
In a star-studded ceremony in Portugal at the 3rd annual World Golf Awards, the Golf du Medoc Golf Resort took the award for France's Best Golf Course 2016.
With eleven other nominees in the category, the Golf du Medoc Golf Course was the clear winner. With two award-winning 18 hole courses set in the heart of the rich wine country of the Medoc, Golf du Medoc excels. Other awards of the evening went to Sir Nick Faldo, taking the prestigious title of Golf Course Designer of the Year. Also celebrating was England’s The Belfry, recognised as Europe's Best Golf Hotel, while Quinta do Lago took the title of Europe's Best Golf Venue.
There are a wealth of golf courses in the Bordeaux region and with the lush greens holding their quality throughout the winter months there is never a bad time to play a round here!
