1. Estuaire Jet Ski, Le Verdon sur Mer

You will be able to hire and learn how to drive a jet ski, with the assistance of qualified instructors, you can be on the water within 15 minutes.

You can also come and try the new banana and buoy boats, perfect for the family! Getting pulled along behind a motor boat on various different inflatable rafts, with up to 4 people at any one time. This is available throughout the spring and summer months.

The relatively new sport of 'flyboarding' is also available to you - climb up to 6 meters high or swim like dolphins.

2. So Nice Surf School, Le Porge

Whether it's your first time on a board or you've been surfing for years, So Nice Surf School will give you the guidance you need to get started or to improve your tricks in a cool, laid-back atmosphere.

The instructors, have a state accreditation as surf teachers (and a lifeguard in James' case). They been teaching children, teenagers and adults for 10 years now. With a good mix of passion, solid teaching methods and a good sense of humour, James will make your surfing dreams come true.

Located at the North beach at the Porge Ocean, away from the crowded central beach. They choose spots where you have room to learn and progress safely, on waves adapted to your level.

3. Magic Surf School, Lacanau

Each session is tailored to the requirements of the participants.

Adrien Valéro, the surf coach is a former member of Team France. The school welcomes all people from 5 to 75 years who want to discover or progress in practice by offering a choice of varied and innovative courses.

"All of the surf lessons include: a practical component, with a warm-up and rapid analysis of the surf conditions and safety advice, followed by an hour and a half of surfing. And a theory section, where we learn about surf conditions and hazards (currents, sandbanks, how waves are formed, weather conditions) and get to know more about the equipment we use."

There's also a surf shop, changing rooms and showers.
