Run by Bordeaux Métropole, the VCUB offers 162 stations with bikes available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The website and app offer up-to-date information on the number of bikes available at each station, so you and your friends can plan your journey more easily. The first thirty minutes of your hire are free.
Much like the Boris Bikes in London or the Vélo Bleu in Nice, this type of bike hire is incredibly popular in most large cities - and Bordeaux is no different.
