Named Lonely Planets's top city to visit in 2017
The Loney Planet travel guide has released their list of 'Top Cities' to visit in 2017. The upcoming cities and places that are rising to the top of the travel hit-list.
Heading up that list is the magnificent city of Bordeaux. Art, culture, a gastronomic revolution and the completion of a high-speed train line from Paris means that our beautiful city will become the must-see city in 2017. Cape Town and Los Angeles complete the top three with Lisbon, Moscow and Portland rounding off the top ten.
The grand architecture, wide boulevards and ornate facades have long been a draw for tourists and with the recent opening of the Cite du Vin and the revival of the riverfront the cities chic centre is now surrounded by hip suburbs.
