Situated close to the central Place de la Republique this catholic church is a dominating feature in the town landscape.

Building on the church started in the 14th century and it was then extended and re-built within the 19th century. As of 1920 it was classified as a historical monument, due tot he presence of the 14th-century apse which is the main surviving original feature.
