History
Initially a small drive competition on the banks of the Gironde estuary, the Jumping de Blaye was created in 1977 by the will of two men: Henri Delage, breeder and owner of the famous Olympic horse sports Jappeloup and Titou Vallaeys, a top athlete (in the high jump), Jappeloup farmer and father of the current president of the contest.
