One of the largest properties in Sauternes and Barsac, this estate has a 93-hectares vineyard where Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle varieties grow.
The estate has changed hands often, but it originally belonged to Carmelite monks. In 1984, it was acquired by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite). They have introduced rigorous measures such as the meticulous sorting of grapes and fermenting in barrels.
They produce a Sauternes Premier Cru, and two further white wines.
