Russian National Opera presents The Nutcracker
The ballet company and orchestra of the 'Opera National de Russie' will perform this age old Christmas favourite to warm you up for the festive season.
Synopsis: Young Mary receives Christmas gift in a nutcracker shaped little man. In the animated night of a strange spell, toy soldiers commanded by Nutcracker engaged in a pitched battle against mice and creatures of the house. Awakened by the roar of the hostilities raging, Mary confronts her fears by taking part in the battle and save his beloved toys in jeopardy. The frantic gratitude that overwhelms the brave little Nutcracker metamorphosis into a real Prince Charming, and the innocent girl into a princess.

On a tour of France the Russian National Opera will be performing in Bordeaux on the 6th December.
