Orange Weather Warning in Bordeaux
Meteo France have issued a Regional warning across the Gironde
Strong winds are forecast for Bordeaux over the course of today and through the night with the possibility of it lasting until tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.
The bulletin, issued at 10am this morning, means that twelve departments in France have been placed on orange alert including the Gironde region. In place until at least Monday evening, it is forecasting strong winds (between 100-133 km/h) with an associated sea swell which could cause high waves. This is expected to intensify during the course of the day. Extreme caution is recommended near the seafront and along the Bordeaux coastline.
