The PGVS liaises Pointe de Grave to Soulac-sur-Mer (les Arros). At 7km long, this railway allows tourists to discover the forest at a slow pace, the Atlantic Ocean, and to see, in good weather, the lighthouse of Cordouan.

The origin of this church can be traced back to the legend of the Sainte-Véronique. In the first century AD, after the death of the Virgin, Sainte-Veronica, Saint Amadour and Saint Martial from Palestine, come to live in Soulac.

There is no need to pre-book, unless you are travelling as a large group, in which case you should call the tourist office on the number above. The train runs daily in July and August:

You can get tickets from either of the starting stations. Price: € 4 oneway / € 7 round trip (free to children aged 3 years and under).
