Since 1983 Vedettes La Bohême welcome you to visit the Cordouan lighthouse or to discover the mouth of the estuary of the Gironde.
From the port of Pointe-de-Grave travel 4.7 miles (8 km), by boat to the Cordouan Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in France. It stands majestically at the entrance of the Gironde estuary. Nicknamed the "Versailles" of the sea, it is one of the famous monuments of the region.
After a pleasant boat trip, you will land on the Cordovan causeway and visit the lighthouse, during which the lighthouse keepers welcome you for a fascinating guided tour.
On landing at Cordovan you will find that the water is sometimes knee deep. So suitable shoes are essential! Flip flops should be avoided.
